VaultletSuite 2 Go (VS2Go) is a secure email program that gives you the option of storing your email messages and files on your computer, a USB memory stick or the VaultletSoft servers. VS2Go requires the Java platform to function and automatically installs it on your computer. The software looks a little different from other email programs you may have used, and your email account is not accessible through a Web browser.

VS2Go is comprised of three products bundled together and accessed through a single console:

• VaultletMail - the email client
• PasswordValet - the password management tool
• VaultletFiler - the file encryption tool

VS2Go uses public key encryption to ensure the security of your communications and file storage. You can learn more about this encryption method by reading Chapter 7. How to Keep Your Internet Communication Private in the How-to Booklet. All encryption tasks are automatically performed for you by the VS2Go software. This improves its security by reducing human error, making it an easy tool to learn and use.

VS2Go provides a little space for your email messages on their servers. New messages will be stored there and can be accessed from any computer running the VS2Go software. However, you should create a local archive on your computer or a USB memory stick and regularly transfer all your messages there. This local archive can be any size, according to your needs.
